The Lincoln Calling Music Festival is thrilled to announce its first-round lineup for the Sept. 28-30 festival, presented by Allo Communications, and produced by nonprofits Hear Nebraska and The Bay. The 14th-annual Lincoln Calling features much more than just a great musical lineup, with innovation events for the community running Sept. 24-30.
Leading this year’s lineup are Charli XCX, Best Coast, Angel Olsen, and Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires. The lineup also featuresFrankie Cosmos, Pup, (Sandy) Alex G, John Moreland, Kemba, Julie Byrne, Flint Eastwood, Wand, Cakes Da Killa, Cayetana, CupcakKe,Future Punx, and Navy Gangs, with many more bands to be announced later this summer.
Musical performances will take place in at least 8 indoor and outdoor venues across downtown Lincoln, including The Bay, The Bourbon Theatre, the Zoo Bar, Duffy’s Tavern (indoor and backlot), Bodega’s, 1867 Bar, and in our Night Market.
Lincoln Calling 2017 is proud to feature YP Week, Startup Week, Make Lincoln (maker’s fair), workshops, a three-day skateboarding contest at The Bay, and a women’s wellness event. This year’s focus on innovation seeks to celebrate young professionals, DIY-ers, and burgeoning entrepreneurs, all the while inspiring new ideas to stimulate growth in the community!
Lincoln Calling is committed to environmental sustainability. In partnership with Carson+Co Global and Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler’s Office, and with support from dozens of volunteers as well as venue collaboration, Lincoln Calling 2016 captured 1.25 tons of recycled materials from venues over three days, as well as offering a special bus route to encourage mass transit. We’re excited to announce the 2017 sustainability initiatives. Stay tuned!
An exciting new addition to this year’s festival is the Lincoln Calling Night Market! Brought to you in partnership with Lincoln Young Professionals Group, the Lincoln Calling Night Market is Lincoln’s biggest bazaar — a true street festival taking over 14th Street between O and P.

• VIP “SPEED!” passes are $250 and include a variety of amenities to enhance your festival experience and help you make it to all of your must-see shows.
