1867

1867 Bar opened in July of 2016, and is now a staple among Lincoln’s downtown venues, hosting several shows a month with bands spanning many genres. Located on the northwest corner of 14th and O streets, 1867 (the year Nebraska became a state) has also put an emphasis on showcasing Nebraska beers and cocktails, furthering its commitment to supporting local businesses and creators.

Zoo Bar

Perhaps Lincoln’s most iconic live music venue, The Zoo Bar has been open since 1973 and is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. Luminaries including Buddy Guy, Charlie Musselwhite, Bo Diddley, Albert Collins and Gillian Welch have graced the Zoo Bar stage over the years and up and comers like Nikki Hill, Selwyn Birchwood and Valerie June continue to make stops at the Zoo while on tour.

Bodega’s

Established in 1996, Bodega’s Alley is located in the heart of downtown Lincoln.. Bodega’s is home to Lincoln’s jam band and Americana music scene and hosts live original music every weekend. They have a laid-back atmosphere with good music and good people, Big Red KENO, darts, a pool table, foosball, Bank Shot, and an outdoor beer garden that make it the perfect gathering spot for friends downtown.

Duffy’s Tavern

Duffy’s Tavern, Home of the Fishbowl™, is an awesome venue for some of the best live music around. Live shows are part of the fabric of Duffy’s history, and veterans of their stage include Nirvana, 311, Bright Eyes, the Boss Martians, Slobberbone, and Wesley Willis. They have also hosted live comedy every Monday since 1986. Whether you’re jamming inside or out back by the fire, you’re sure to have a great time.

Bourbon Theatre

The Bourbon Theatre took over the old State Theatre space at 1415 O St. in March of 2009. Since opening, the Bourbon has hosted countless sold out shows in its main room featuring bands from all over the musical spectrum, including Bassnectar, The Temptations, GWAR, G-Eazy, SZA, Taking Back Sunday and Montgomery Gentry. Many venue and sound system upgrades over the past nine years have helped create a beautiful atmosphere and great sound to see a show.
